More than just a childcare centre, our goal is to ensure that we are hiring qualified and dedicated Teachers and Educators to join our team. As we grow, we are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Certificate III Lunch Cover to join our close-knit and supportive team in Mascot.
As a Certificate III Lunch Cover, your core responsibilities will include the following:
- Plan, supervise, and deliver the class program in line with centre policies, including providing appropriate supervision and support during lunch cover periods.
- Maintain a sound understanding of the National Regulations and National Quality Standards, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality education and care within the centre-based environment.
- Collaborate effectively with fellow early childhood educators to build and sustain positive team relationships.
- Develop strong, trusting relationships with families by fostering open communication and supporting a meaningful home–school partnership.
What we are looking for
- A completed Certificate III in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA equivalent).
- Valid Working With Children’s Check (WWCC) and relevant First Aid Certificates
- Child Care First Aid and CPR certifications are required
- Previous working experience in Early Childhood Education
- A minimum of 2 years previous working experience in Early Childhood Education
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- The desire to make a positive contribution to a professional, collaborative and focused team
- A love for children and a desire to make childcare a long-term career
- Passion, enthusiasm and a strong commitment to high-quality care
