Job description

We are looking for an experienced building leading hand/carpenter to join our team at Tazman Constructions. You will join our established team dedicated to providing the best service to our clients. The role will see you engaged in a diverse range of Architecturally designed residential and commercial construction projects across the Sydney region

Responsibilities

Communicate frequently and work with Tazman’s project manager, contracts administrator and staff to organise and schedule trades
Supervising subcontractors, trade workers and daily reporting
Receive, secure materials and deliveries to job sites
Maintain site safety regulations and security
Expected at least 50% carpentry responsibilities daily
Interpreting plans and specifications for accurate project delivery

Base salary between $130,000 – $150,000 plus super, fully maintained vehicle, fuel and company tablet
Opportunities to work on a diverse range of high end residential up to $3.5m and detailed commercial projects up to $1m
Recognition of achievements

What you need

Minimum 5 years experience in carpentry
Certificate III in Carpentry (essential)
Certificate IV in Building and construction or supervisor certificate will be highly favourable
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Current drivers license
Adaptability across residential and commercial projects
Ability to use or be trained in the use of construction management software, along with experience with Microsoft Project
