Job description

Microsoft’s Frontier Company Engineering team is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to work directly with customers on complex, production-focused data and AI challenges.

You will develop models, run experiments and drive evidence-based decisions with measurable business impact, working in multidisciplinary teams across the full lifecycle from data discovery to deployed solutions. The position is remote eligible with travel below 25%.

Responsibilities

Acquire and prepare structured and unstructured datasets
Develop production-ready models and scalable data solutions
Evaluate models against genuine business outcomes
Design and improve model evaluation methods
Run experiments that inform customer strategy
Write extensible code and apply effective debugging practices
Define customer and solution strategy goals
Partner with engineering
product and domain teams

2+ years of customer-facing project delivery
