YOUR ROLE

As part of the Scape Eats team, you’ll help deliver an exceptional food and dining experience for our residents while keeping front and back of house operations running smoothly. From supporting food service and maintaining cleanliness standards to creating positive interactions with residents, you’ll play an important role in creating a welcoming and vibrant dining environment.

Day-to-day you will:

• Deliver friendly and professional customer service to residents and guests
• Support front and back of house operations across the Scape Eats dining environment
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, dining and food preparation areas
• Operate and maintain commercial dishwashing equipment and kitchen tools
• Assist with food preparation and basic kitchen support where required
• Ensure crockery, cutlery, utensils and glassware are cleaned and stored correctly
• Work collaboratively with chefs and the wider Scape Eats team to keep service running smoothly
• Build positive relationships with residents and contribute to a welcoming community atmosphere

This role operates on a 7-day rotating roster, with shifts between: 6:30am – 2:30pm and 5:00pm – 9:00pm

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

You’re someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment and takes pride in delivering great service. You’ll bring a positive attitude, strong teamwork skills and a willingness to jump in wherever needed.

• Passionate about customer service and creating positive experiences
• Comfortable working in a busy kitchen or food service environment
• Organised, reliable and able to manage competing priorities
• A proactive team player with strong communication skills
• Knowledgeable in food safety and hygiene standards
• Experienced operating commercial kitchen or dishwashing equipment (preferred)
• Flexible and available to work across a rotating 7-day roster

Please note: The successful candidate must be willing to undertake a National Police Check and a Working with Children Check (WWCC) prior to starting in the position.
