Job description

KPMG Australia is seeking an Associate Director to join its Data Analytics and Emerging Technology team within Audit and Assurance. The team delivers data-driven technology solutions that address complex challenges for external audit teams and clients.

You will shape the future of audit-technology support, lead analytics engagements and use Databricks, PySpark, SQL, Microsoft Azure and AI-powered solutions to drive audit innovation. The role also includes stakeholder leadership, portfolio management and coaching junior team members.

Responsibilities

Lead data-analytics engagements as an engagement lead and subject-matter expert
Use Databricks
PySpark
SQL
Azure and AI-powered solutions
Manage a portfolio of technology-driven Audit and Assurance engagements
Interpret analysis outputs and manage senior stakeholder expectations
Serve as an escalation contact for clients and internal teams
Test and deploy sophisticated data and analytics tools
Coach and provide technical training to junior team members
Contribute specialist knowledge across KPMG
